     1833       -    *Settlement established by Scottish Presbyterians from Jamaica; becomes part of the Presbyterian Church in Jamaica and Grand Cayman; in 1965 this body merged with the Congregational Union of Jamaica to form the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.

 

     1870       -    *Missionaries arrive from the Jamaica Baptist Union, with support from the British Baptist Union.

 

     1911       -    The Wesleyan Church (also known as Pilgrim Holiness Church)
