Buena Vista Park Community
An Agroecology Project in Guanacaste, Costa Rica

We sell farms in Costa Rica. Interested in diversifying your assets? Want to build your own private nature reserve, or have a secluded getaway? We also offer private reforestation projects and agroforestry projects with income potential. Or become a cowgirl/cowboy (sabanero) like us and raise your own livestock. What's keeping you from Pura Vida!?
We're looking for a few good neighbors! Buena Vista Park Community is an ideally situated location in northwest Costa Rica, where we've raised our families the past 25 years. We have recently acquired more property from a neighbor and are offering 10 hectare buildable parcels (24.7 acres), with access to power and water. Nestled between our 1,600+ hectares (4,000 acres) we have several properties available at $200,000/parcel. Within a 3-mile radius there are three hot-spring resorts, and we are part of a biological corridor between the Salitral and Tizate Rivers. Besides our well-known equestrian activities, we are an adventure tourism hub and gateway to the Guanacaste Conservation Area - just 45 minutes from the Liberia International Airport.
We invite you to call us for more information, as well as schedule a site visit: in Costa Rica contact Stewart Menking +506 8818-9170 and in the US contact Rick Holland +1(831) 334-6049

For "those in the know," living in the hill country with ocean views (beaches are an hour away) provides a more comfortable climate and privacy from world-famous beach resorts. We are both a refuge for wildlife and farmers promoting regenerative agriculture and participating in the agroecology movement. Various agroforestry practices characterize our land management, and we are happy to share our decades of experience. World renown ecological research is conducted nearby, and Pre-Columbian sites are scattered around. What adventure awaits you!?

Parcels have paved public road frontage, electric power at road, and available water. We work with a local contractor who has built several houses for us (as well as one of the resorts), there is an available workforce for farm labor, agricultural advisors and land managers to make your parcel a dream location - as we have done with ours!
